Crawfish Boil

Annual crawfish boil.

The 2025 crawfish boil and BBQ was held at Jeff Hamm's house. 221 Stella st. in old Metairie. Noon till 4:30 on Saturday March 29, 2025. It was open to all members of The New Orleans SAE Alumni Association and we had a blast. At least 50 members showed up! Thanks to all members of the boil committee and also John Gutierrez for bringing his food trailer and preparing the delicious crawfish. Barbq items served included pulled pork tortillas, cajun peppers with boudin and mozzarella and smoked boudin! Alabama white sauce, sauce remoulade and indian green curry coconut sauce complemented the bbq. The New Orleans SAE Alumni Association is growing! Again!

The 2024 crawfish boil and BBQ was held on Saturday March 16th from noon till 3:30 pm. It was at Jeff Hamm's house at 221 Stella St. in Old Metairie. A great day for crawfish and barbq.

2023

The 2023 annual crawfish boil was held on April 15th, 2023 at Vaughn Cimini's house. (205 Stella st. Old Metairie., 70005) See Google map below. This year, we had a crawfish boiling competition. Congratulations to Steely Dogs for winning the competition.

This event was BYOB, as usual. If you choose to drink alcohol at any of our events, please do so responsibly.

The New Orleans SAE Alumni Association refuses to tolerate hazing of any type, form or fashion. We encourage our members, pledges and actives to notify us in the event of any suspicious behavior or activity. Any reports of such behavior will be strictly confidential.

As an alumni association of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we are committed to reporting suspicious behavior immediately to the national office and local law enforcement. If any chapter, alumni association or individual is found guilty of hazing, they will immediately be subject to a lifetime ban. They will immediately be removed from our ranks and be prohibited from attending any events.

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE posture regarding hazing. One strike you're out. No exceptions.

We are an alumni association of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. And we are growing. Our committes plan each and every event, maximizing participation among local members. Join a committee by using our link to the left.

We are committed to fostering younger members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Big Brother and Major Mentor programs are core to this philosophy.
